All hand forged and ground, I designed this opener for a local craft brewery to cut the seal on the most precious of wax dipped bottles. I am now offering these wonderfully unique bar tools for sale. These rugged bottle openers have a deeply serrated edge to cleanly cut through the wax you find on certain high-end craft beers. The other side has a robust bottle opener.
I forge these openers out of steel stock one at a time to ensure that each one has a unique character. I do not use any power tools, jigs or automation like other blacksmiths. All of the forging is actually done by hand with just an anvil and hammer. After forging, I grind the edge and bring the bright steel down the handle to bring out the reverse twists.
Each opener is finished in a durable clear enamel. With a little care, these hand forged bottle openers will last many lifetimes. Easy to clean, simply wipe with damp cloth and dry. Do not submerge in water and dry after getting wet to retain the bright finish.
This all steel harpoon bottle opener is guaranteed to be center of many conversations at your next gathering. Because of my multistage finishing process and robust design, this opener will last for generations.
